This is one of the original goals - to give the player freedom of exploration.This is a cool idea - the global story being the same but the player experiencing it from different starting locations and situations. We plan to add variety and the need to research sectors to collect resources. A large number of events in the form of side quests will tell and show the structure of this galaxy. In addition to the main plotline, the main immersion is planned to be achieved with a narrative. I dont mind if its built upon the mechanics of FTL as long as the visuals deliver and the mechanics are further developed: FTL had a very basic premise that did not allow for much exploration or storyline outside of the main premise This is the first time I herd about this game (via Worth a Buy) but looks promising.
